Dawn's Details: For years I've tried & failed to do a forward-walking "badass" style pose & have scrapped it every time. I just couldn't get the right look and feel. I had to scrap my first attempt at this one too, it's deceptively difficult to get right. But I was close enough in concept that I tried again and this time it worked!!! --the millionth time in my career as an artist was the charm! haha.
I did most of this on livestream with you -including the scrapped first-attempt- and it was SO great to have many of you there to cheer me on, tell me when things looked off etc. Thank you!
Done with watercolor, copic, colored pencil, gouache & white acrylic ink on Arches Watercolor Paper.
