Dawn's Details: This was a commission for a very wonderful woman, who I’ve met many times at conventions & whenever she comes by, she’s like a ray of sunshine at my booth. She requested Death as the topic for her commission.

For years I’ve wanted to tackle an “in the rain” drawing and have been keeping that hope in my back pocket for some time where it would be appropriate. I felt that this was the perfect time!

I wanted to show happiness in the rain. I had the rain idea specifically in mind for this piece way back in September 2019, but it fits even better now with all that’s going on in the world, we can still be happy, embrace the struggles and fears and smile through it.
